Samsung Galaxy A37 Features

The Samsung Galaxy A37 packs useful upgrades into a slim and light body. It handles work, play, and social media with ease. Below, you can read about each main part in simple words.

Design & Material

The Galaxy A37 looks neat and feels solid in your hand. Samsung covers the front and back with Gorilla Glass Victus+, which resists scratches and small drops. The frame uses plastic, so the phone stays light. The phone measures 162.9 x 78.2 x 7.4 mm and weighs 196 grams. It slips into a pocket easily. You get four color choices: Graygreen, Charcoal, White, and Light Violet.

Water and dust cannot harm it easily. The IP68 rating lets you dip it in water up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes. A rainy day or a wet kitchen will not worry you. The phone supports Nano-SIM and eSIM. You can also use two Nano-SIMs with two eSIMs, but only two work at a time. An under-display fingerprint sensor unlocks the phone fast. Stereo speakers give you clear sound. The phone has no 3.5mm jack, so you need wireless earbuds or a Type-C adapter.

Display

The Galaxy A37 has a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED screen. Colors look rich, and black areas look deep. Videos and photos look sharp at 1080 x 2340 pixels, with about 385 pixels per inch. The screen runs at 120Hz. Scrolling, swiping, and gaming feel smooth. Samsung says it reaches 1200 nits in high brightness mode and 1900 nits at peak. Our test measured 1246 nits at maximum brightness, so you can read it outside in the sun. Gorilla Glass Victus+ protects the display. The screen takes up about 86.5% of the front, so you get a big view with thin borders. Watching movies on this screen feels great.

Camera

The back holds three cameras. The main camera has 50 MP with an f/1.8 lens. It also has optical image stabilization (OIS), which keeps photos sharp when your hands shake. Phase detection autofocus locks focus fast. An 8 MP ultrawide camera fits more people and scenery into one shot. A 5 MP macro camera lets you take close-up photos of flowers, food, and small objects.

The phone also offers LED flash, panorama, and HDR modes. You can record 4K video at 30 fps. You can also shoot 1080p at 30 or 60 fps. Gyro-EIS keeps your videos steady while you walk. The front camera has 12 MP and records 4K video at 30 fps. It also supports 10-bit HDR video. Selfies and video calls look clear and natural.

Processor

Samsung runs the Galaxy A37 on the Exynos 1480 chipset. This 4 nm chip has eight cores. Four cores run at 2.75 GHz for heavy tasks, and four run at 2.0 GHz to save power. The Xclipse 530 GPU handles games and videos.

Our tests show how it performs. The phone scored 697,795 on AnTuTu v10 and 912,055 on AnTuTu v11. It got 3,345 on Geekbench 6 and 1,035 on 3DMark Wild Life Extreme. These numbers show smooth daily use and fine gaming at medium settings.

The phone runs Android 16 with One UI 8.5. Samsung promises up to 6 major OS updates. You will get new features for many years. Connections are modern too. The phone supports 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and GPS. NFC works in some markets and regions. The USB Type-C port supports OTG.

Ram & Storage

You can pick from four memory options. The first has 128GB storage with 6GB RAM. The second has 128GB with 8GB RAM. The third has 256GB with 8GB RAM. The top model has 256GB with 12GB RAM.

The phone uses fast UFS 3.1 storage. Apps open quickly, and files copy fast. More RAM helps you switch between apps without slowdowns. The phone has no memory card slot. Choose your storage size with care. If you save many photos, videos, and games, pick the 256GB model.

Battery & Charger

The Galaxy A37 carries a 5000 mAh battery. It lasts a full day for most people. Our test showed 13 hours and 49 minutes of active use. The EU label rates its endurance at 53 hours. The phone supports 45W wired charging. You will spend less time near the socket. The battery also holds up for about 1,200 charge cycles, so it stays healthy for years. The phone earns an Energy Class A rating from the EU label. Use a 45W-compatible charger for the best speed. Mobile Buzz BD sells original Samsung chargers if you need one.
