Features and Benefits of Huawei Mate X7

The Huawei Mate X7 stands out for its notable features. Here are some of the essential features and their benefits:

Foldable Display

The 8-inch LTPO OLED main screen gives you plenty of space to enjoy movies, multitask, and work. Its 120 Hz refresh rate feels smooth while scrolling through social media. Also, the 1440Hz PWM dimming makes viewing more comfortable in low light. However, the 6.49-inch cover display works well for everyday tasks.

Camera

The 50MP main camera uses a large 1/1.28-inch RYYB sensor and OIS. It captures more light for clearer photos, particularly in dark scenes. The 50MP periscope telephoto camera adds 3.5× optical zoom and telephoto macro capability. Moreover, a 40MP ultrawide camera completes the setup.

Foldable Architecture

Foldable phones need more than a good-looking hinge & crease. The Mate X7 uses an Advanced Precision hinge and a three-layer protective structure. Its main screen combines:

• A non-Newtonian fluid layer
• A UTG impact-resistant layer, and
• A carbon-fiber support layer for durability.

Protection

The cover screen uses durable Kunlun Glass 2. The phone also features IP58/IP59 dust and water resistance. This gives you extra confidence when using the Mate X7 on busy days, while traveling, or in unexpected splashes.

Performance

The Kirin 9030 Pro uses a 6nm manufacturing process and pairs with the Maleoon 935 GPU. With up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage, the Mate X7 has plenty of room for demanding apps.

Cooling System

Long gaming sessions and heavy workloads can create heat. Huawei uses a 3550mm² SuperCool VC with graphene-based heat dissipation to cool key components. This helps maintain consistent performance during extended use.

Features

The Mate X7 adds useful AI tools beyond photography. Two-way AI noise cancellation reduces unwanted background noise during calls. Face-to-Face translation records both sides of a conversation and translates them in real time.
