iQOO 16 Features

The iQOO 16 packs flagship hardware built for speed, gaming, and photography. From its bright QHD display to its powerful triple camera system, every part of this phone is designed for smooth daily use. Below, we break down each major feature in detail.

Design & Material

The iQOO 16 feels solid and premium in hand. It comes with dust and water resistance rated IP68 and IP69, so it can survive rain, dust, and accidental splashes without damage. You can even dip it in water up to 1.5 meters deep for 30 minutes, and it will still work fine. The bezel-less front panel gives it a modern look with a small punch-hole camera cutout. This build quality makes the phone tough enough for daily outdoor use.

Display

This phone has a large 6.85-inch LTPO OLED screen with QHD (2K) resolution for sharp and clear visuals. The 165Hz refresh rate makes scrolling and gaming feel super smooth. With 2800 nits peak brightness, you can easily read the screen even under bright sunlight. HDR10+ support means videos and photos look more colorful and lifelike on streaming apps. The punch-hole design also gives you more screen space without a thick bezel around it.

Camera

The iQOO 16 comes with a triple 50MP camera setup on the back, including a main lens, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Each of these sensors captures 50MP photos, so you get great detail in every shot. The camera also supports 4K video recording at up to 60fps for smooth and clear videos. On the front, there is a 32MP selfie camera with screen flash for better selfies in low light. OIS support helps reduce blur from shaky hands while taking photos or videos.

Processor

Inside, the iQOO 16 runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 chipset, built on a 2nm process for better speed and power efficiency. This is one of the most powerful chipsets available right now, making the phone great for heavy gaming and multitasking. The 64-bit architecture ensures smooth performance across all apps. Users who play graphics-heavy games will notice fast loading and lag-free gameplay on this device.

RAM & Storage

The iQOO 16 comes with 12GB of LPDDR6 RAM, which is one of the fastest RAM types available today. This lets you switch between apps quickly without any slowdown. It also has 256GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage, giving you fast read and write speeds for apps, games, and files. Storage is not expandable, so buyers should choose this variant based on how much space they actually need.

Battery & Charger

This phone has a large 8400mAh battery, so it can easily last a full day of heavy use. It supports 100W wired quick charging, which charges the phone very fast when you are in a hurry. It also offers 40W wireless charging for people who prefer a cable-free charging setup. This battery size makes the iQOO 16 a good pick for users who game or stream videos for long hours.
