OnePlus 16 Features

The OnePlus 16 mixes strong hardware with smart everyday tools. Here is a closer look at what you get.

Design & Material

The OnePlus 16 feels premium in the hand. It has a glass front and an aluminum frame. The back comes in glass or glass-fiber-reinforced plastic. Crystal Shield Glass protects the front and the glass back. The phone is 8.5 mm thin and weighs 217 g or 220 g, depending on the back. It comes in Black, Silver, and Orange. Water and dust are no problem here. The IP68 and IP69K ratings handle high-pressure water jets. You can also dip it in 2 meters of water for 30 minutes.

Display

The 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen looks sharp at 1272 x 2772 pixels. It shows 1 billion colors. Dolby Vision, HDR10+, and HDR Vivid make movies pop. The refresh rate goes up to 185Hz, so scrolling feels very smooth. Peak brightness hits 2000 nits, which keeps the screen clear in strong sun. The 3840Hz PWM dimming is easy on your eyes at night.

Camera

The back has three cameras. The main one is a 200MP sensor with an f/1.6 lens and OIS. It captures rich detail in day and night shots. A 50MP telephoto lens gives you 3x optical zoom with OIS. A 50MP ultrawide lens covers a 116-degree view for big group photos and landscapes. You can record 8K video at 30fps. For smoother clips, shoot 4K at up to 120fps. The 50MP front camera takes sharp selfies and records 4K video.

Processor

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 runs this phone. It uses a 2 nm design with a prime core that reaches 5.01 GHz. Apps open fast, and heavy games run well on the Adreno 850 GPU. You can pick 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Storage options go from 256GB up to 1TB with fast UFS 4.1. The phone runs Android 17 with OxygenOS 17. It has no card slot, so choose your storage with care.

Battery & Charger

The 9000 mAh Si/C battery lasts a long time. Most users can get through a full day with ease, even with heavy use. Charging is fast with 100W wired power. Wireless charging goes up to 50W. The phone also shares power with other devices through reverse wireless and 5W reverse wired charging. Bypass charging helps during long gaming sessions.
