Huawei Pura X View

What if a phone could give you a small tablet feel without looking or feeling like a large tablet? Meet the Huawei Pura X View! The first-ever wide-screen smartphone that quietly breaks away from the conventional phone formula. Unlike traditional foldable or candybar phones, this wide-screen retains the familiar non-folding design. However, it offers significantly more room to enjoy content. Its 1.05mm bezel and 96.1% screen-to-body ratio make the display appear almost edge-to-edge. The wider shape can also accommodate three columns of content on some social media, whereas typical smartphones show two. Add eye-catching colors and a flagship-level 9-series chip, and this Huawei smartphone feels refreshingly different without the hefty cost.

Features of Huawei Pura X View

The Huawei Pura X View takes an unfamiliar phone shape and gives it a surprisingly wide-screen twist. Its biggest appeal is simple: you get more room for content. The following are some key features worth mentioning:

Design and Display

The Pura X View has a 6.39-inch LTPO2 OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. Its wide 5:3 layout gives you more horizontal space than a typical phone. The 1.05mm narrow bezels and 96.1% screen-to-body ratio make the front look almost all-screen. Watching 16:9 videos in landscape mode also feels better. At just 6.7mm thick and 201g, it does not feel too heavy in the hand. However, the Leaping Shadow red color is particularly striking.

Performance

Under the hood, the phone packs the Kirin 9030S 5nm chipset with a Maleoon 935F GPU. This flagship-level 9-series chip gives the Pura X View the power to handle everyday apps, multitasking, gaming, and demanding content smoothly. It comes with 12GB RAM and up to 1TB storage. That gives you plenty of space for photos, videos, apps, and large files.

Camera

The rear setup features three 50MP cameras. It includes a wide 50MP camera with OIS, a 50MP telephoto camera, and a 50MP ultrawide camera. Laser AF and a color spectrum sensor also help with focusing and image capture. The phone can record video up to 4K resolution. Gyro-EIS and HDR Vivid help keep footage steady and visually appealing. For selfies and video calls, there is a 10.7MP front camera with HDR Vivid video support.

Battery and Charging

A 7000mAh battery is one of the Pura X View’s standout features. It gives you plenty of capacity for long hours of browsing, video watching, gaming, and on-the-go use. When you need a quick top-up, 66W wired charging gets the phone ready faster.

Audio and Connectivity

The Pura X View features stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos for a richer sound experience. It also supports NFC, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS, and an infrared port. Its USB Type-C 3.1 port supports OTG and DisplayPort 1.2. This gives you more flexibility when connecting accessories or external displays.

HarmonyOS 7.0

The phone runs on HarmonyOS 7.0, giving you Huawei’s latest software experience. Combined with the wide display, it is particularly useful for browsing, multitasking, and consuming content.
